Dr. Navneet Kaur, MS, MAMS, FRCS (Glasg), PhD, PGDHHM, FUICC, FCMCL-FAIMER, FAIS, FIMSA, is a distinguished academic surgeon and a leading authority in Breast and General Surgery with over three decades of clinical, academic, and leadership experience. She served as Director Professor of Surgery at University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) & GTB Hospital, Delhi, where she mentored generations of surgeons and contributed significantly to advancing surgical education and standards of care. A pioneer of Oncoplastic Breast Surgery in India, Dr. Kaur is a Founder Member and President-Elect (2026–2028) of the Association of Breast Surgeons of India (ABSI). She is widely respected for integrating oncologic safety with aesthetic outcomes, ensuring

holistic and dignified care for women with breast disease. Her academic contributions include over 125 peer-reviewed publications, supervision of 65+ postgraduate theses, and more than 130 invited national and international lectures. She has played a key role in developing breast cancer care guidelines and strengthening surgical training programs. Dr. Kaur has received several prestigious honors, including the Outstanding ASI Member Award (2023), Dr. S.K. Sen Oration, and Dr. A.K. Sahay Oration. Frequently invited as an expert by UPSC, AIIMS, KGMU, and the National Board of Examinations, she also actively promotes breast health awareness through media and academic platforms, continuing to shape the future of breast surgery in India.
